CHILDREN'S MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS

The Annual Children’s Mental Health Awareness Walk in Orange County will take place at the Mill Ponds in Monroe on May 5th from 9:00 am to 12 noon.  By joining us on the move for children's mental health, you are helping  our mission of assisting children and families in Orange County, impacted by social, emotional, and behavioral problems, as well as mental health diagnoses. You also will be showing your commitment to help VoicesUnited4Change continue to provide much needed support for these children and their families.

According to the National Institute of Health, mental disorders are common among children in the United States, and can be particularly difficult for the children themselves and their caregivers. While mental disorders are widespread, the main burden of illness is concentrated among those suffering from a seriously debilitating mental illness. Just over 20 percent (or 1 in 5) children, either currently or at some point during their life, have had a seriously debilitating mental disorder.

You can make a difference here in Orange County by registering today! We need your voice and support to help overcome the challenges these children and their families face.

REGISTER TODAY, Start a team, walk individually or make a donation to a team or individual. Every walker helps in our mission.
